"Kristen has been an outstanding partner in our pursuit of finding a second home out of state. Due to location challenges, Kristen carried the ball outside of standard duties. Kristen is an urgent and sound communicator. Every single step was outlined, she moved from email to text to phone as we required it. She is a wonderful negotiator, she gained smart intel to help us with the right offer."

"I asked Marty if this was a property, he thought he could market and sell and if he wouldn't mind dealing with a seller who lives halfway across the country. Marty basically said "I got this". Marty got right to work, interfacing with my tenants, pricing the property and taking on other responsibilities that should, as seller, have been mine. Usually when I asked about something, for example details on inspection, it had without exception already been taken care of. Marty was always one step ahead. He got my unit looking it's best ever. Taking the initiative to do the next best thing was his hallmark. I honestly didn't worry or think about the process. I knew if there were any snags (and there weren't) Marty would be all over it. We were fortunate to several offers and Marty navigated that negotiation in a way that was fair and transparent and of course professional. If and when I have another Palm Springs transaction I will naturally go to Marty. "

"I highly recommend Gene Hayes, realtor extraordinaire! He represented me on the sale and purchase of my homes. I have never had a realtor work so hard. He always had my back, from Open Houses to Closings. You can’t go wrong with Gene, one of the best realtors I’ve ever worked with. "

"Looking back, I do not think you, Rachel or I would have thought it would have taken so much time and energy to get Palm View through the goal line. I think if it was not for you and your team it might have been another covid disaster. You said you could do if and you kept your word. I wrote the new owners a note telling them about our experience in the desert buying and selling 4 multi million dollar homes - all transactions handled by Michael and his team plus another 6 to 8 referrals, think I lost track. Told Drew you were the ultimate class act. Rachel and I really mean it. Thank Paul for all his assistance. I think we will always stay in touch and if we stayed or returned to desert, we would all become closer friends."

"We met Alison at an open house. The property didn't interest us, but Alison did. She proved to be as good for us as we thought she would be. For example, she was the only realtor who seemed to value all the improvements we made on our condo (we ended up with multiple offers at or above asking price, which based on comps was optimistic to begin with). On the buy side, she listened and showed us properties that reflected our wish list. On both the buy side and the sell side, she was with us every step of the way."

"Rick and I would like to thank you for a wonderful job. Having you as our agent was a very pleasant experience. Being that we are 2 hours away from Palm Springs you were always willing to accommodate us with our crazy schedules. Making sure that we received all documents and that we signed them on time, doing research and calling escrow to get us answers and just being so patient matters a lot. Thank you for your high level of professionalism, I can assure you that we will definitely work with you in the future. "

"GENE WAS ALWAYS PLEASANT EFFICIENT AND AVAILABLE. CLOSED ON MY PLACE IN 30 DAYS!"

  -Michael D, Client

"Michael and team had multiple offers and sold our Rancho Mirage home in less than a week. Michael sold us a wonderful mid century home in South Palm Desert and we needed to sell our Rancho Mirage home fast. They performed and we are so happy we no longer have dual house payments. Thank you so much Team Michael. Service Plus! "

"Gene is the best. I have had 11 real estate transactions and Gene was the best realtor I have had the pleasure of working with. He was always kind, provided sound advice, and quickly found solutions to every problem. He communicated with me regularly and answered all questions I had. I recommend Gene to everyone."

  -Karl B, Client

"Michael Hilgenberg and Team Michael did an excellent job in selling my estate home in Rancho Mirage and smack-dab in the middle of a pandemic. I had listed my estate with another national franchised firm for 6 months without much action and no offers. Due to the size and value of my property I did not want a lockbox and wanted Team Michael Staff to prep the property prior to every showing. With over 5,800 SqFt lights needed to be on, window blinds needed to be opened. It took about a half hour simply to ready the house for showings. Team Michael’s marketing program was impressive and created good buyer activity, even in my price range of $2.3M. Michael and his team successfully sold my estate residence and coordinated the purchase transaction of my Texas lake home. Thank you, Michael! You’re the best."

"I have known Gene Hays and have done business with him for over twenty-five years. He always chooses to do things the right way for the success of his clients. He doesn’t just sell property. He builds relationships to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction over and over. I cannot say enough good things about him and will ask Gene to represent me on my next sale."

  -Randy J. F, Client

"Working with Michael Hilgenberg and his team at Keller Williams was a dream. Michael knows the Desert market and guided me well through all my questions and concerns. He made sure that only qualified buyers were shown the property and I was always given advance notice regarding showings. I felt completely secure that I was in the hands of knowledgeable real estate professionals who had my best interest at heart and I was never disappointed. Selling my home was a smooth, non-complicated experience and I would work with Michael Hilgenberg and his team again and again."

"I have been working with Gene Hays for about six months now. He is one of the best agents I've worked with since deciding to relocate to Palm Springs. I have called him on numerous occasions to discuss an issue and he always answers my calls and makes time to understand and deal with my issues. He also sends daily updates of properties that I may be interested in pursuing at a later date. Due to the pandemic and geographic constraints I have not had an opportunity to actually tour a property in person; however, when things get back to some normalcy, I am sure Gene will help me find a great property in a great location in Palm Springs. Based on what I have experienced so far, I look forward to finalizing a deal with Gene and making the move south. Gene is a total professional and a it is a pleasure to do business with him."

"Michael is the best, he spent more the 6 months until he found me my house. He is the best. If you want some one who cares. Please call Michael. Pichan. Has the heart, and the patience."

  -Ned Hindi, Client

"Michael and his team sold our Mission Ranch Estate home in Rancho Mirage after we had 4 other brokers attempt to sell it over a 4 years period. What an incredible experience! Michael personally opened the house for every showing and showings we had! His follow up after every showing was valuable to keep up informed of the buyer market and warranted a price adjustment. Ambitious marketing plans targeted high-end buyers through the Keller Williams Luxury International Network. We were able to proceed with building our new home and recommend Michael and his team when you want to sell your luxury property."

  -Scott and Kaci Kincaid, Client

"We are so happy and consider ourselves very fortunate to have chosen Marty to represent us in the sale of our Palm Springs home as well as the purchase of our new home in Redlands. Marty was always quick to respond to every inquiry we had, and always available to rapidly resolve any issues that arose. He was spot on in assessing the existing market conditions and got us top dollar for our sale. His real estate savvy and negotiating skills allowed us to close escrow on our Palm Springs house early, and miraculously close the next day on our new home, making the transition as stress-free as possible. Marty has a positive outlook and upbeat personality that make him a joy to be around. We are 100% satisfied with the job he did representing us and could not give him a higher recommendation."

"Gene Hays worked with us both buying and selling our properties! He, without a doubt having bought and sold many other properties, gene worked tirelessly to make these transactions work with very little effort on our part ! Gene Hays also is bright with a nice sense of humor along with loyalty. I would recommend Gene with the highest regard plus we would not consider using anyone else in buying or selling our properties."

  -Barry B & Tim T, Client

"We met Gene through a mutual friend who sang his praises. He is guiding us as we search for a forever home in Palm Springs. While the pandemic has slowed us down, Gene has been responsible and conscientious, answering our zillion-and-one questions, following up with us consistently, and patiently guiding us through the process (it’s our first home purchase). "

"We've had a pleasure to work with Pete Boesen at Kelller Williams for three transactions and he is just fantastic guy! He is easy to work with, very proficient, excellent at what he does."

  -Patrick & Wendy G, Client

"I'm pleased to have worked with realtor, Alison Cone of Keller Williams Team Michael. She was very intuitive about the market, the sale price I was focused on, and listened to my concerns with the sales process, marketing efforts, the listing itself, and a multitude of other questions and ideas I had along the way -- all which weren't necessary, as she knew exactly what to do, and how to market the property to attract the right buyer. I found her extremely pleasant to work with, patient, knowledgeable, and timely in her communications with me -- all of which resulted in her closing the sale... and at $4,000 OVER my asking price! I can, and will with confidence, highly recommend Keller Williams Team Micheal to anyone interested in buying or selling a property."

  -Todd Sisler, Client

"Our listing had expired with another Realtor at the end of April and had been on the market for the entire "selling" season but since it didn't sell, we had planned to not re-list until next "selling" season. That all changed with a personal note from Gene that stood out amongst the abundance of standard mailings from all the Realtors that are ready to pounce when a listing expires. I tossed all those in the trash but left Gene's on my desk, my husband came to the same conclusion that we should try listing again during the, hard-to-sell, summer season. Just something about a personal note...One month later...SOLD . Gene took a personal and active role in showing the home to each prospective buyer and left everything in order afterwards. We believe his professional enthusiasm made the difference.’"

"We were introduced to Kristen when we were exploring the possibility of finding a home in the Palm Springs/ Desert Hot Springs area, she listened and took us seriously, giving us clear guidelines on how to move forward with our home search. As a first-time homebuyer, I wasn’t knowledgeable about the process of purchasing a home, but Kristen patiently worked with us through the process of prequalification through finding a home that was cozy and suitable for us. She made sure she got answers to all of our questions from start to finish. We are forever grateful for making sure we got our home on my birthday. Kristen communicates well, very friendly and we sincerely felt that she had our best interest in mind. I highly recommend her for your real estate needs."

"Marty is a class A+ Realtor! He was my selling agent. His superior knowledge of the local market prices saved me from a huge loss, a much lower price recommended by 3 other realtors who were not as competent. He was consistently very pleasant to work with in all interactions, even when difficult a situation arose. He gave me fair and honest feedback on all the offers I received. He did not try any shortcuts to get a fast deal for himself. Additionally, he recommended a few skilled laborers to improve my property presentation. They were excellent and when one didn’t work out, he simply recommended another. He is a drama-free realtor, and made a stressful situation not just manageable but pleasant. I highly recommend him. He is the best local realtor."

"I would like to thank Mike Gardenhire for your professionalism and competency in the handling of the listing and sale of our home. Our agent, Mike Gardenhire, was outstanding. Mr. Gardenhire made himself available whenever we needed him and he was able to answer our questions/concerns as we went through the listing and selling process. And most impressively when we asked a question where he was unsure of the answer, he did not hesitate to tell us he wanted to verify the accuracy of his answer before he answered the question. What a refreshing change, from those people who answers questions with guesses or inaccurate information rather than admit they need to verify the information they provide. Every bit of information Mr. Gardenhire provided to us was both accurate and timely. "

"Gene Hays will forever be our Palm Springs realtor! Buying out of state can be daunting. Gene made the process seamless and simple, from making an offer to final closing. His hard work helped us find the place we always wanted. Don’t let his infectious personality fool you. His professionalism and attention to detail, is what won our hearts. We started with a realtor, and ended with a friend. Thank you Gene."

"Michael Hilgenberg and his team sold our desert home in a fast, concise manner. Michael, being our neighbor, contacted his client base immediately upon listing our home, brought a cash buyer and they bought without delay, to include all our furnishings. Michael communicated with us at every stage of the transaction. He coordinated to services to complete the buyer’s request for repairs. We have many social acquaintances that are real estate agents and because Michael was out neighbor, we felt he had not only a professional interest but as well a personal interest knowing the neighborhood and the quality life style we offered. Michael personifies his moto at the highest level: One Name, One Purpose…Sold."

"Dear Pete, Thank you for your continued friendship, along with your helpful, and most professional real estate guidance a few months back. Moving from San Diego to Palm Desert was a difficult process (especially alone) but it was so much less difficult with your being so knowledgeable and professional in all areas of real estate and the area here! It meant a lot to me, that an otherwise difficult process could be so much easier with your knowledge and skill, plus a sincere desire to meet my needs. Your ability to explore all areas throughout this beautiful Coachella Valley also made it FUN. The entire process was a true education and most professional. I can honestly give my highest recommendations for your guidance. Thank you again!!! Sincerely, Sherry Hughes "

"We had a wonderful experience buying our Palm Springs home with Gene’s assistance. We had a fair amount of price and neighborhood constraints as well as the challenge of looking while living in Northern California with only quick visits to Palm Springs to tour properties. Gene went above and beyond to help us in our search and he even toured a home for us on FaceTime when we couldn’t travel due to the Pandemic. Gene is very knowledgeable about Palm Springs housing and real estate transactions and always had answers to our questions and never hesitated to research any aspect about which we had concerns. He made himself available at quick notice and always responded to our calls and emails in a timely and professional manner. We are very pleased with our new home and would recommend Gene Hays at Keller Williams to anyone looking to buy a home in the desert. "

"Marty was there every step of the way in what turned out to be a very challenging search for our future home. With the current situation as it is in this area, Marty was quick to identify potential properties and be first on the scene when one that fit our needs came on the market. Being out of town buyers, we had to really lean on Marty’s expertise, since most of the time we were unable to personally view properties in the timeframe required to make an offer, in what turned out to be a red hot market. Whether it was a facetime walk-through or a series of pictures and commentary, Marty was able to accurately describe each property and provide us the necessary information required to make an informed decision. I would have to say that I highly recommend Marty to anyone looking to buy or sell real estate in the Coachella Valley. I genuinely think he is as good as it gets when it comes to selecting an agent."
